This is extremely picky, but when you look at scoring droughts being an issue in some cases for Purdue, shot selection is key. After PItt calls a timeout, we jack an early 3. Work the ball inside. But the big guys have to finish! Way too many sloppy plays by Hammons and at least one from Haas.

AJ needs to play stronger. He has zero fouls.

This has long been an issue with AJ. He has the size yet shies away from contact.

I get the 3 point shooting somewhat, but would like to see more going inside. We have 2 capable centers - you gotta play physical inside.

There's no reason Haas/Hammons shouldn't combine for at least 10 free throws a game, and that's a low number imo.

KS is going to graduate with nothing more to his game than he came with. Only player that doesn't seem to have made significant progress in the off season.

Pitt is doing an amazing job at preventing the ball from entering the post. That cannot continue to happen. Our shooters are not good enough right now.

Also, need to stop the mental errors! I was very happy with how we protected the ball in the first few minutes... we need to get back to that.

The biggest difference I see is we are very tentative and moving the ball much slower around the perimeter with the zone. A lot of the passes are not crisp. This is where Ray is missed.

I don't know about that. We've gotten plenty of good looks down low and Hammons/Haas are not finishing. Hammons is playing like he did at MSU last year. Like he's a freshman.
