In statistics, yes, in merit, no. That Purdue team had some slashers (Lew Jack, Smooge, Keaton, Robbie) and that officiating WAS horrific against Oklahoma.

This team has no one to create off the dribble and Maryland played good post D. (When we've drawn fouls this year, it's usually been undersized bigs hacking AJ or Haas). All we do is try to deliberately feed the post, which we've seemed to regress a bit at (bad turnovers, missing them when they are open) and passively shoot 3s. Nothing towards the basket from a non-big.

I'm usually ooohing or ahhing at the refs a couple times per game, but I honestly had no problem with the officiating today. We play a brand of basketball that doesn't draw fouls unless opposing team's bigs are smaller.
