This will be a true test of our depth.......both on the front line and our guard play.

Need to be aggressive but play smart and rebound and hit the free throws.

I say Purdue 74 Utah St 67..........

Will be a sloppy game to start with both teams turning the ball over, missed shots and fouls......but second half will be more focused and this is where Purdue will execute better and win out.

Look for Vincent, Spike and Mathias to have a big games........C. Edwards and Smotherman bring the energy.

Biggie will be solid too obviously....but if teams are smart they will key on him and get him in foul trouble to make the rest of the team earn the win.

Those kids coming back from missions reminds me of playing BYU a couple years ago. Hopefully they are a classier team than BYU was.

that utah st team has some talent. a 4* and a few 3*s. Their guards are pretty good. I'd be happy with a win. They can play.

Jalen Moore is touted as their best player. It looks like he's good at drawing fouls and converting his FT's. VE or Smotherman will likely match up with him most often. This certainly will be a defensive challenge for VE: this would be a great game for him to show that he deserves the praise he's gotten in the past (or gets now) and outplay another player (J. Moore) of a similar stature (both physically and metaphorically).

I believe this venue is the court that has the giant chandelier on the ceiling. I wonder if that ever comes into play.

Let's go!

Win tonight and it looks like we'd be playing against RJ tomorrow... That should be interesting.

Their coach's last name is Duryea? I get that after a long night of IPAs and shots of Jameson.

RJ has been coming off the bench for them and it looks like he's mostly shooting threes. I think it's safe to say that their will be some jawing going on when he's in the game. Smotherman is the only remaining player that actually played with him at Purdue, but I'm sure some of the other guys are familiar with him. Auburn is really not as much about RJ as it is guys like their true freshmen starters Daniel Purifoy and Mustapha Heron.
