#11, 7, 8, 5, 4, 9, 6 and #2 have all lost this week. I wonder how many spots Purdue is going to jump this week with all of those teams losing. I'm guessing right around #10 or 11.

Lucky 13! Yeah.....tempting fate.

Something like 19 ranked teams will have lost by the time Michigan St and Illinois play tomorrow. Gonna be a ton of shuffling except for Auburn/Duke at the top.

14, maybe 13. Since so many teams lost, I expect most to shuffle down 2-3 spots. I don't think there will be that many big jumps. With our 4 losses, I only think we pass UCONN, Oregon, and Gonzaga for sure.

Purdue will have its doubters all season because of the struggles against some of the athletic, high pressure teams that they faced early on, as well as the lack of rim protection, but I believe that they are now playing much better collectively than they were playing before the New Year. All Purdue can do now is keep beating the teams on the schedule and keep improving. I actually think that this new version of Purdue would fair much better now in a rematch against the four teams that beat them. I’m not saying that they would beat Auburn, but they would be much more competitive and I would really like their chances against the other 3.

Prob rank 13 in one poll; 15 in another. Rise above Oregon and UConn. No way for 10 or 11. The ranked numbers you listed mostly lost to top 10 teams. We have only played one top 20 team since Auburn. We have conf wins over 4 of 6 bottom conf teams. We are not a top 10 team.

Some of them lost to unranked teams when I was checking. I would have to look again to see forsure. It's to cold and to early for that though. It's lazy Sunday.
I went a looked. #2, 5, 6 and #7 were to unranked teams. A couple other were to teams ranked in the 20's.

I did not review many either. Thought more of the top SEC teams played each other. My bad.

Auburn, Duke, and Alabama will be 1-3. Most of the rest of the top 10 lost - Iowa State probably still in top 5.

If Michigan State holds serve at home against Illinois, the Spartans likely jump into top 10.

Iowa st will probably drop the most as they are not a blue blood with a lot of media support . Teams like Kentucky and Tennessee never drop much when they lose. I suspect Purdue will flip with Oregon and no higher.

You realize Iowa St also beat Kansas handily this week right?

I agree. Not many teams move more than 4 (5 at the most spots) ... and only three have lost twice.

Much rather be the hunter than the hunted.
