Purdue/Maryland overview:

Picking the biggest thing for me in this game: Turnovers. Simply can't have empty possessions. Need to stay in single digits and I honestly don't have much faith we can do that. I'm sure we are going to see some very aggressive doubling of the post and force us to handle it. I wish I was more optimistic about this one, but I'm really not.

The turnovers have killed Purdue the last two seasons. Against Nebraska, cut the TO's in half and Purdue runs and hides away in that game and likely wins by 20...even with their two bench guys going for 30+.

That might be the best way for Maryland to play us because they have the people inside that can contest our post game a little more than others.
Giving purdue inside play might cut down on Maryland's transition baskets if Purdue were to miss and give up long boards.

Do you guys/gals think the early tip-off will favor the Boilers or maybe have them out of their routine?

I've never been a big believer in game times having much impact. Unless the game is played in multiple times zones away from normal I just don't think it makes any difference. Hawaii or Alaska maybe. 12:00 EST no.
