Purdue/IU overview

Spike and maybe McKeeman?

Yes.

From The Exponent:

"This game will be Albrecht's last home game as a Boiler along with senior guard Jon McKeeman. It'll be a game for them to remember."

From Spike:

"When I was at Michigan, both the Ohio State and Michigan State rivalries were crazy. But here ... just being a part of it on the inside instead of looking at an outside perspective ... we had so many outside players and alumni texting us. It shows how important this game is to people."

"I think it's great for the fans for both programs. It's a big game and for us to celebrate it and senior night at home, I think it's going to be a really fun game."

Dumbest chant in all of America!

Agree 100%. Let's re-affirm to everyone that they are "big brother" and we are trying to measure ourselves against them even when we are playing Penn State or Northern Illinois. I don't necessarily mind it when we are actually playing them but it would sound really stupid if they are putting it to us sometime and we do it (which we still would).

That's already happened: 2013 at Mackey when IU won 97-60. Members of the crowd chanted "IU sucks!" a few times throughout that game.

What were the primary man-to-man matchups in the game at Ass. Hall? Was it CE on Newkirk, Thompson and Johnson, Mathias on Blackmon, VE on Morgan, and Swanigan/Haas on Bryant/Davis?

Which players do you anticipate stepping up (i.e. scoring above their average) for the Boilers tonight?
