Purdue can play with anyone

Tough loss today, but they fought; you love to see that fight.

Every round, including the first, will be tough, but this team can play with and can beat anybody in the field.

Looks like we're the minority around here! I'm seeing a ton of complaining and prep-work for a loss in so many threads here. "Oh the seeding"..."Oh the location"...."Oh the altitude"..."Oh the 1st round opponent"..."Oh the 2nd round opponent". So many are already working on excuses for a loss. Just nutty as hell.

I agree....we have a good team....not crazy about the Virginia match up if it gets that far....they are really good a doubling the post in defense. If we play our game and hit some shots, we can beat anybody, anywhere.

No doubt. We came so close to beating a 2 seed today. A match up I wanted soooooo bad. Just a dumb play or two from winning.

Pointing out challenges is not making excuses.

It's not like we're the only team playing at altitude - our opponent is too.

There's a reason so many teams get upset in the tournament - because they overlook their opponents. That's my only fear and I'd have that fear every year we are a higher seed. It has nothing to do with "Purdue" - it's just a fact of the tournament. You have to come to play or you'll go home. We need to come to play - we have some challenges facing Little Rock - including they are a turnover causing machine. And we have plenty of advantages.
