I just saw where the Purdue band visited the site where some of the players from 1970 plane crash are buried. I think I can say on behalf of Herd Nation, "thanks for showing respect and you guys are a class act". I know it stinks to lose but many of us hope we can play again. Your fans were first class and that is what one would expect from a great school like Purdue. Good luck the rest of the year.

I remember the crash like it was yesterday. Along with the Wichita St, Okie St and Evansville losses. Sad days remind us what it is all about. Thanks for the compliment, good luck to the Herd.

There's no way to tell you how much this means to our fan base and city. You guys were all class this weekend. The Boilermakers have lots of new fans here.
