Purdue at Ohio State: MASTER DISCUSSION THREAD

Great kick!

I will state this early in the game, it was the right decision to go for a FG to get the 3 points.

However these players woke up from their dream and realized who they were and missed the easy chip shot.

Dont feel bad Nebraska and Penn St couldn't score from 1st & Goal inside the 5 either. OSU playing a LOT of 2nd/3rd string players already so looks like they are using this game to rest a lot of starters.

On the road vs the #3 team in the country? It’s never the right call.

This is looking like another Boiler Boa Constrictor loss......ever so slowly getting squeezed to death and then tossed in the box canyon to rot.

well, Kelley finally figured out to call the QB run to the outside

absolutely shocked there was no contain on the edge there......

But keep in mind, they play a lot of players against everyone. All of those 2nd and 3rd stringers for OSU were 4and 5 stars in HS and if they don't get some playing time in meaningful situations, they'll hit the Transfer Portal, And it's not just OSU as you'll see the same rotations at the really deep teams like Georgia, Alabama and even Oregon now.

The advantage of playing a ton of players early? Obviously, they'll be a lot less tired than the opposing team in the 4th quarter

Not as starters or for the 2nd drive though. Usually they play after half time.

Defense backups(player numbers): 3, 17, 11, 24, 92, 96, 97, 98

have already played a significant time.

Who the F is calling these plays!! 3 and short and we’re trying to throw. Same call on 4th down. WTF

Have you ever seen DB's on one team give up leverage and take bad angles as what we see week in and week out with this Purdue team???

Should put Browne in for the second half to get more experience. We are not winning this game anyway and Card has 46 yards passing.
It's Veterans Day weekend, in the past we've had special flag pattern inside the P sticker on the helmet, not today?
