Jacobsen would be nice to have in this one.
Close to two travels.....not Purdue's night so far.

Tip of the hat to Marquette's D. They are elite and ahead of Purdue’s offense at this point in the year. Very impressed with their pressure.
Dribbling in one spot for the majority of a possession trying to force feed TKR is not what this offense needs
Not a shock that the majority of the team struggles on offense. They are not involved.

Geez how do you call that with the way Marq bodies every play?

Not many (if any) teams are winning on the road against a very good team with 15 turnovers on 11 steals. Close to woodshed time, unfortunately......run had to end some time, except now my Marquette grad sister is going to give me good-natured hell, deservedly so.....haha.

Probably not the 1st time this season with a double digit loss…on the road.
Berg, Furst and Harris are offensive liabilities. Berg legit looks scared on offense. Having DJ tonight would have made a world of difference. Maybe not a win but certainly a lot closer. Can't get away with small ball all the time especially when shots aren't falling. Crazy how much stronger and better drivers their lead guards are. Good learning experience though. Need to keep working and getting better!
Colvin and Heide and no dunks. We get zero action at the basket. Bad game plan and execution tonight.
Just didn't make enough shots, didn't get enough second chances, didn't protect the ball enough......some times it's not your night.....hopefully a learning experience....put it behind you.

Credit where credit is due. Gotta respect Shaka and his program, and Marquette outplayed Purdue tonight.
Tonight’s game unfortunately revealed how and why Jacobson won the starting center job over Berg, Furst and burgess even though he missed a huge portion of practice while being a part of the U.S. team. I’m not saying Jacobson is the second coming of Edey. But he was a lot better than the other three trying to play center tonight.
Nothing has changed since UConn game. Strong athletic guards who defend are the antidote for Purdue. No Edey to lean on, this team is going to take some lumps.
The better team won tonight. Hats off to Marquette. We can learn a lot from the loss. It's a process.
