Berg had perhaps the worst 1 minute of play I’ve watched a Boiler play in years, he easily could have had 1 maybe 2 more fouls, way too slow.

Not just defense. Boilers are easy to defend right now. No creativity or real flow. Try to have TK back his way to the basket or have Smith just try to do something. And absolutely no semblance of a fast break or trying to force tempo and get some fast break easy baskets. Super conservative, super stale.
I mean to be fair, Jacobsen would have helped. And we didn't have room this season so portal was irrelevant this year
He is going to have to get more invested in using the portal going forward.
Galloway went right around Smith there - if that's gonna happen, might as well try to strip him from behind. At least Colvin and Heide getting in the flow.....TKR has to settle down, could have gotten called for that elbow.....and yeah, not getting calls, but you can't let it frustrate you to that point, IMO.
Ballo is not skillful just physical. He does provide fouls to give and send Ballo to the line which might be like a turnover

He would have helped for sure, but at the same time, how many of our 7 footer have really played significant minutes their freshman year? Have a hard time believing that was the plan
