I honestly think we should single out the play Painter called at the 1 minute mark from the sideline for a curling VE as a defining play that lost us the........ O wait it was a great playcall. hmm.

It was something they were able to run effectively earlier in the game, so it was a smart call to go back to it. Having the experience on the floor to allow you to call it from the sidelines without letting the defense get ready was a big plus, and the kids executed it to perfection.

It was an ugly game there for a long time, but it's always nice to see the guys step up in crunch time.

Haas didn't break his right hand did he? Wonder what he was hiding under the towel when he came back from the locker room. Maybe it was the left hand.

It wasn't our best game, but we pulled out the win. We needed it.

Williams played like a punk tonight. If that is how he normally is, I am glad we did not get him. We don't need that on our team.

Dag nabbit ... I missed the game All I've got is a box score and this thread. I have one question, based on this game and several others. and it's about PJ. I've always considered PJ as our point guard. And our floor general and ball distributer. and he does a great job at it. But, why does he get so few assists? He has 0 assists tonight. Was it because he made a lot of great passes and our players kept missing?

I'm not trying to diss any player or PJ. I don't believe he had a bad night. I'm just asking the question because I didn't get to see the game.

Great game. we beat a great team. tough battle, and we didn't choke at the end. I don't really care about the low shooting %. We got a badly needed W against a prime team.
