Yup, ugly half

But, Boilers lead at the break. We'll take it.

Obviously missing nearly every 3 pt attempt however, gotta credit lville, they're playing pretty tough D

I’d rather have my 6’8 scholarship athlete than a 6’6 unathletic walk-on.

Semantics seem to bother you an awful lot Fish.... Eifert's had a great game so far..... One would think you were footing the bill for that "6'8" scholarship guy". But we had this same discussion already this year so will agree to disagree.

Ugly half.

Can't disagree, Lenny. Considering the way Purdue shot it....a minor miracle to have the lead. Absent the one mistake pass, Eifert was very solid filling in because Vincent Edwards was plagued with 2 fouls again. Louisville has the edge on the glass, but I thought the Boilers at least competed well, there. Gonna be a battle all the way, though.

The under is looking pretty sweet.

Have to get a new backboard from the back. There's a crack in Purdue's bb. There were so many bricks thrown, they aren't sure who did the damage.

Like I said before: is there something wrong with Painter that he can’t recruit guys who can’t beat out a walk-on?

Man....not looking good for the Big Ten conference. Northwestern falls at the buzzer, 52-51 to Georgia Tech....Rutgers trails Florida State by six with about 7 minutes left.

To be fair, most of the shots are contested or not smart shots. So credit Lvilles D. We need to move better and get open shots.
We took some contested shots but no more than what we took against AZ. We’ve missed 5-6 wide open looks. Just not hittIng.
I’d like to see CE continue to attack on the one man fast break. Score or get to the line.

Evidently for tonight at least the walk-on is outplaying your guy.... Is there something wrong with Painter wanting to put tonight's best performers on the floor... When that changes we both know the line-up tonight will change too....

Starting to force/jack some threes....gotta make Louisville defend better than that, or it's the same result as last year.
