With the way we played against Illinois, you never know. But this game should be a blowout. As many pundits have pointed out, OSU's 12-7 record is very misleading. This team isn't very good and have just been blown out by Maryland. Purdue should win by 20.

It's an ESPN double-header in my house (married to a UK grad). Hope the UK-Arkansas game doesn't run long. I know the Cats are worried about getting out of there and home before the snowmaggedan hits, so hopefully one team or the other will dominate and get it over with fast.
Ohio State is still loaded with talent and they've had some good games. You don't beat Kentucky by mistake.
That being said, it's a matter of which teams show up for both sides. Does Purdue turnover-prone team show up?

I think it will be closer than GBI predicted. OSU is big and athletic.
Purdue keeps OSU at arms length much of the night with a consistent 6-10 point lead. OSU applies pressure down the stretch and makes it closer than we would like. Purdue grabs some big boards and hits their freethrows in the final minute to seal the deal.

Talk about some depressing predictions. You guys realize that Purdue is a 13 pt favorite right? If we don't win big, that'd be upsetting. I like to think of the Illinois game as more of fluke than of a sign of things to come.
