The toughest game will probably be at MD. Iowa could be sneaky tough, and IU can't ever be taken for granted.

That said, I think this team has a decent shot at going 15-3. Most years that wins the conference, but MSU plays both us and MD only once. Once again, I hate how unbalanced the schedule is. PLEASE EXTEND THE SCHEDULE TO AT LEAST 22 GAMES!

It'll be interesting to see how MSU fares against Florida, our first common opponent.

There will be a game, there always is and always will be, whether it be fouls or the flu or just a bad night (and yes, we have depth to overcome this), there can be an odd loss in there somewhere. It's why you play the game. If we avoid one, that will make this year (and tourney seeding) awesome. MSU could have one too. The great thing is that our defense and depth make us far more prepared and able to handle bad nights.

I agree with at MD and Iowa being tough. 15-3 may well be the magic number.

I think MSU will be tough at Mackey, Iowa at Iowa is always tough but it's very winnable, IU at AssHat Hall has the aura of PU being called for a lot of fouls but the depth allows a Boiler win going away in spite of the tremendous coaching advantage IU has (tic), and by the end of the year Bo has the Badgers winning some games in his last season. Maryland at home will be tough. No more than two losses, and I really believe save injuries this team can go undefeated in the B10. Watch for Butler in a trap game.

Hard to say....lots of improvement needed. They are great now, but some teams improve more than others. Fortunately, Painter has a strength of to this point improving his teams. Hopefully he can do the same with this one and make it deadly. Right now though they show stretches of a very beatable team....and stretches of a very dominate team B1G champion team. Just got to get more consistent. I have faith in Painter that he will work them toward the later goal.

15-3 is my guess for B1G, plus or minus a game. I think we'll protect our home court (maybe lose 1) but have 2 or 3 losses on the road. Would love to run the table (all the way to April actually :) ), but when's the last time that happened in our conf?

last undefeated conference record......Indiana in '76.

one-loss teams since then, Ohio State ('07), Illinois ('05), Michigan State ('99), Indiana ('93)

Purdue's best conference record during that stretch was 16-2 in '88....lost the second last game to Ohio State and the other loss was @ Indiana (ending a 16-game winning streak that season).

I'm sticking with the 15-3 I predicted over the summer.

I was laughed at for it. But it is what it is.
