What you said and I agree was the result of no discipline on offense. I said the same thing many times in another thread about Hammons and a green light on a three. Basketball is about runs and many times a two minutes stretch can be the game. IU has no defense and no discipline and any Knight fan has to be throwing up seeing the chaotic offense of IU and that matador defense of IU. They will get better, but my that's a lot of money they pay Crean when there are many not coaching that can have no discipline either...

Crunchtime, you have a famously thin front-court and your second biggest player (with a career 3PT% barely nudging 30%) is shooting a three?

Wake was picked to finish near the bottom of the ACC, and missing their leading scorer, and spurned plenty of chances towards the end too. It was literally a game of 'who wants to win least'

If IU has been having the same problems during the whole of Crean's tenure, you gotta think its the coach and not just the players. If Painter has saucy players his entire Purdue tenure, its on Painter

On the other hand, I am not upset to see Crean defenders promote the idea that he is a good coach worthy of IU. Sure, let him stay another 20 years at IU

Well, Wake's big victory in Maui did move them into the Top 100 (#94) in Sagarin's ratings. In_iana only dropped from #11 to #19. Oh, and btw, Purdue is #2!
