Lol. Sure wasn't when Jones was rushing the ball down the floor and Purdue was running. remember PJT, hard to watch, walking the ball up diliberate slow dullness, but still highly efficient TO free, basketball.

Correct. PJ is in charge of the offense with Sasha assisting and Johnson and Lusk are running the defense.
Biggest improvement this year is when they get the ball across half court they don’t stop and look at the bench for play call. They are in much better rhythm and flow.
Painter gives assistants experience during these types of tourneys and games, PJ is not the only one driving the offense, but I am sure he is respected and does have valuable insight.
as far as looks go. during that part where they showed coaches teaching skills to the kids, there was a side view of Pete Gillen, the poor guy's gut was like a bowling ball
