these clowns have played this game with the NCAA for decades because it has no teeth or spine. We will see the lower levels coaches and school officials who normally fall on their sword start rolling over when the stakes are prison.
If prosecution does not follow through it will mean nothing, as usual, because the NCAA will not hurt its big name programs.

Not in all cases. Sometimes the lead of the university is in on it, so they don't deserve the return of money. Case in point is the football problem at Penn State. Yes, I know that one didn't involve money, just that college presidents have been in on situations and take unlawful actions in response.

Yeap, reportedly the AD had a meeting with the pres first, lasted around 5 minutes, he was asked to fire Pitino and refused, so he got fired.
Pitino met with pres, meeting lasted about 5 minutes then Pitino left the campus.
If UL gets a heavy penalty, which most of saying they should, there is history in the PSU and UAB situations to allow players to transfer with no penalty to sit out. Wonder if that would be the case in this instance and where guys would likely land...IF they are cleared because being implicated in any way challenges their amateur status.
