I watched this kid play tonight against Ryne Smiths Anderson team. Robert is young, but, he is very quick. His older brother Charles plays as a Senior and I'm guessing probably is a huge reason Robert is so good. The game was pretty close at the half, but Robert came out with some very quick points and some nice steals. He's just a Soph, but I can see why he's getting all this attention. I think he's going to be special and Painter really needs to lock this kid up and not let him get away. I also wouldn't be shocked if Painter extends an offer to another Mav player, this Deaton kid, who reminds me so much of Ryan Berning. A scrappy kid with a great shot and a real nose for the ball. Deaton is a Jr, so we'll see. I like them both.

The kid is a Jr, but I could see he has a pretty solid frame to pack some more muscle onto. I think he was listed at around 6' 4", so he may be able to hold down a 2 or possibly 3. Not saying he's some elite player, but the kid is heady and has a good understanding of where to be and when. He had his hands all over the place defensively. Just sayin.

I also think he was listed at around 185lbs I wouldn't be shocked if he was at least offered a walk on.
