I feel like I have to state this at the beginning of every Painter thread... I'm in his camp but no longer sharing a sleeping bag with him

I really think there is something to what I call Painterlash... And that is that a team can't sustain his style/personality/criticism for the entire season.

I varies by year but I feel like every season the team shuts him out around this time...

The younger the team overall... The harder it is to play thru it
