While watchoing a Virginia BB game recently, I remembered a very interesting story about its coach Tony Bennett. Hopefully someone can confirm that I am correct about it.
A number of years ago when Gene Keady was the head coach of an international team (The world cup?) one of the players for him was Tony Bennett. Gene recalled that they lost the semi-final game that day and that evening Tony Bennett came to Gene's room to make sure that Keady was taking it OK after the loss and if there was anything he could do for him. Quite an action for someone so young. I have always respected Bennett from that day. By the way he had a great coach and father(Tony Bennett SR)
