Really ?More schools are doing this, on the football side and the basketball side.
I don’t believe Woj has total control of all basketball operations.Woj retires from ESPN to be GM at alma mater
Adrian Wojnarowski has agreed to become the GM of the men's basketball program at his alma mater, St. Bonaventure.www.espn.com
That would be such a smart move. Let him handle getting rid of CRW and get us a good coach and take it out of Bobo's hands.I would suggest we offer Mr Brees a similar position at Purdue…
Seems like a way to get a big name around the program. However. It feels like the government. Bloating the athletic department and blurring responsibility to the point where its difficult to know whos to blame. Lastly, wheres the money come from. We cant afford to fire the worst coach in the b10 by a mile then we shouldnt be adding people to the payroll.Really ?
where the GM is in charge of everything? Coaching staff, roster, etc ?
The GM is the "fallout" of NIL in my opinion.. it's almost needed to manage everything.. and I hate it.Seems like a way to get a big name around the program. However. It feels like the government.
