I'm personally of the opinion that the best thing for Indiana football, and football in the State of Indiana overall, is for IU & Purdue to both roll into the Bucket game with it being a nationally relevant game. A ranked matchup at least, preferably a top 15 game with CFP (or formerly major bowl) implications. There have been scant few years like that in the past.
On a personal note, I would turn on Purdue games here & there to see how things were going and I was super impressed with the turnout you had for the Oregon blackout game. Drawing that kind of crowd cheering that hard during this kind of season against Oregon on a Friday night was impressive. The fans deserve better.
