OT - Colts

Fields is a tough evaluation. It is true that his o-line and receivers are horrendous, but his passing numbers aren't just bad, they're downright alarming. Even so, he was so electric that they'd have won several more games if they weren't fielding an XFL roster everywhere else.

This is going to be an all time offseason for Ryan Poles and the Bears. The amount of resources that he's going to expend has never been seen before in the history of the league. Hope he doesn't screw it up.
Even more resources now. Got a haul for the #1 pick.

And of course, Ballard just sits there and will let the top 3 QBs come off the board ahead of him.

Update: Ballard builds his 1980s offense around a running back, but then doesn’t offer an extension to said running back, and said running back, who is the only weapon on the entire roster, will now miss the first 4 games of the season.

🤡

Running back is under contract he signed. Man up and honor the contract. Why would anyone in their right mind offer or trade for a hurt running back?

1. NFL teams routinely cut players under contract. That cuts both ways.

2. Still stupid to build your offense around a RB that you treat worse than a guard or a LB that are coming off injuries.

Looks like the offense is now being built around the new QB, who has far more mobility than Rivers or Ryan. That makes a big contract for a rb of less value.

RBs have short careers and get beat up. Better just to bring guys in with low draft picks and if they work out, let them go before a big contract and repeat.
