Oscar Cluff to visit Sunday

“Oscar Cluff, On3’s No. 1 overall player in the transfer portal, has scheduled two official visits, according to a source.
The 6-foot-11 transfer center from South Dakota State will be at Purdue from Sunday, March 30th through Tuesday, March 1st. He will then head directly to Iowa State and will visit the Cylones from Tuesday afternoon through Wednesday, March 2nd.

Cluff averaged 17.6 points, 12.3 rebounds, and 2.8 assists per game this season. He has one year of eligibility remaining.

It says he’s a senior but has only played D1 at Washington state and South Dakota state. So not sure how much he has left 😂.

He should be able to split minutes with the bigs, I think he can play the 4/5?! Jacobsen is not gonna be a 40 minute guy and he can develop and learn stuff under an experienced player…

Looks like he announced his decision to visit. Many people here have voiced their opinion that you wanted Purdue to add a center. He looks like he would be a nice addition. I doubt Jacobsen is going to play more than 25 mins. I believe Jacobsen would welcome some competition. Didn’t Jacobsen sign with Purdue after Burgess had already committed?

If the guy is good and painter likes him, I say why not! Welcome to Purdue.

Seems to me JUCO shouldn't count at all. They aren't part of the NCAA.

Ultimately I think this is going to end up with are you a student in good standing taking a minimum number of hours (say 6-9)?

Then you're eligible.

Take seven years to get a doctorate? You're eligible.
