Landing the #1-2 overall recruit as well....top 6 class and returning an NFL caliber QB. I think he would be smart to stay. Miami has an up hill battle amongst the big boys down south.

Oregon job is so interesting. Top 5 in many ways but where it is based and where their to look talent comes from, means they needs guys that Aren't local. And who are always at risk of wanting to go "home" even if we're just talking geographically

I always thought the timing was weird for chip to go back, just one year earlier or later and he goes back there instead of UCLA. If Mario leaves, man that would be an all-time gut punch.

Paying Temple a $4 million buyout. On top of the $2.5 million buyout that Temple just got from GA Tech who hired their last coach a month ago.

Temple suddenly has a nice war chest to attract a good coach. They are sort of a throwback team that plays good defense and runs the ball.

Pointdexter would be a good hire for them bc he could bring Barclay with him potentially as have a really solid recruiting basis with those two...I hope that doesn’t happen though.
