Penn State is playing tough right now - five straight wins (Northwestern (2), Maryland, Illinois, and Indiana)....and eight of nine, with the only loss to Rutgers giving up a 19-pt second half lead.
Purdue will need a really good game and an all-hands-on-deck effort tomorrow afternoon.

I'm not sure that's such a good thing this year. Lower seed teams went 8-4 over the first 3 days. Purdue has 2 of the higher seed wins.
Could be an indication of parity in the B1G. Could just reflect bubble teams and OSU being more motivated.
I hope it doesn't indicate a lack of quality at the top. There is only 1 B1G team in the NET top 25 and only three in the top 30.

I think what it indicates is relative parity in the bulk of the conference, minus Purdue and Minnesota.
Completely agree. And I don't mean parity in a good way. It's parity with mediocre teams. There is absolutely no team in the B1G that has a chance to win the big dance besides PU.
Do you have the odds to win it all for B1G teams? It has to be a huge drop off after PU.
Hey Hey - Dukie V pushing for Purdue as a #1-seed.....my head is spinning, but he makes a good point about the depth of the Pac-12 conference, despite being THEE Conference of Champions.
Heard that too Tex. The only thing he had wrong was saying that if PU wins BTT they should be #1 and the committee should wait. They aren't waiting until 5:30 to make that call.
I still don’t understand the smoke being blown up Kansas’ butt. They have now been completely blown out twice, both times basically at home. Guess they have to have one of the so called blue bloods up there.

Well, I've been bullish on Kansas, so I'll take a whack at it:
They have 17 Q1 wis, four more than any other team in the country. In fact 75% of their games this year have been Q1. They won a league in which 60% of the teams are in the NET top 25. By comparison, only 1 B1G team is in the top 25. Kansas housed Indiana, the 2nd highest ranked B1G team.
I get that Kansas had blemishes. They did lose to Tennessee (so did Alabama). But anyone would have blemishes playing that schedule.

Doesn’t matter anyways even if he was right since UCLA lost.
I guess this is one time where the Big Conference Tourney final being Sunday could help us.
I hope we beat Penn State but if we lose the committee can’t take that into account.

It's already done. Today won't matter.
I don't see Texas ahead of UCLA but even if they are, it does not mean they automatically go with the worst #1. That is a big bracketing myth. Geography matters more. Texas will go closer to home, which means Louisville assuming Kansas goes to KC. If Kansas goes to Las Vegas (possible), then Texas will go to KC.
