For those who think this race was decided by “racist misogynists”

Omg. He inherited it pre Covid? Are you freakin looney? You mean we get to just ignore the economic effects of Covid?

Biden inherited the economic conditions on 1/20/21. Not a year before that. Talk about repeating lies jfc.
Damn Bob you sound like my wife when I tore up her last credit card. lol

And google the numbers. I'm right and you are wrong.

You can be right about the numbers all you want. Your timeline AND your logic sucks. Biden didn't inherit the 1/20/20 economic conditions. He the inherited 1/20/21 economy. The economy wasn't humming then.

Trump had a good economy after three years but not after four........and Biden got it after year four, not year three. Your conclusions make no sense and you should be embarrassed for making your argument, let alone defending it.

Bob is on quite a streak of being wrong. I can't remember a good post where I thought "yep, that's right." Sure must have happened sometime?? Surely?

Bob read my post.
We were talking fuel costs pre covid when the economy was humming.
Inflation was around 2% and when Biden took office it was around 1.4%

I'll take your word for the inflation numbers. Gas was really cheap in '21 too. Know what? It was that way in almost every developed country in the world because there was one overwhelming factor........and it wasn't because trump was running the world.

The oil went up and inflation went up, all over the world. Was Biden in charge of the world economy?

I did read your post. You said,"I was going to post the links to show that Biden inherited 1.4% inflation and gas prices preCovid, when the economy was humming, were at or below $2.00."

Maybe you didn't type what you really meant to say or you were just being purposefully vague. The ramifications of Covid were yet to come. You didn't mention that part did you?

Do you believe if trump had been re-elected inflation and oil would have stayed at those levels despite Covid affecting the economies of the rest of the world? We would somehow be different?

I believe Trump would have kept all his policies in place which meant less restrictions on oil production and oil refinement.
Oil production increased under the Biden Adm. but his policies caused an increase in fossil fuel energy costs.
We shall see if Trump can get gas prices back to the $2 level.
I believe energy costs will go down.
