Official December 13th Dawand Jones Thread

I'm glad somebody got this out of the way. When he gets another P5 offer later today we'll have a place to post about it.

To miss a guy in our own backyard?
He doesn't fit the Brohm/Dale Williams prototype for OL. They want OL who can move well. This guy is a road grader but he's not very nimble and would have trouble executing the traps and Zone rushing concepts that Brohm wants to use. He would get destroyed by quick DEs if he plays OT. Now then, they could work on him and slim him down but he's still going to be 320 - 330 lb. His body type tends more toward being bigger, not smaller.

Wisconsin...ish...

I was thinking Minnesota, but you have a point. Actually, Wisky's OL are more athletic and mobile than they are often given credit for.
We do seem to have problems with these types of O-Lines. I do feel a change is coming with the D-line getting pushed around. I love the Brohm Factor and it's going to be fun to watch Boiler Ball again!
