So much for the days of ambitious non-conference scheduling being over.
Good question. Will have to look at that side by side comparison sometime. Right now just started watching this weekend's IN Fever game.
Pretty damn close if the preseason prognosticators are correct:
11/15 Alabama
11/19 @ Marquette
12/14 Texas A&M (Neutral)
12/21 @ Auburn
Two of BYU, NC State and Ole Miss in San Diego
The lads will be battle-tested and in prime condition for the B1G and beyond.

This is how Izzo has always scheduled non conference games and when he had the horses it benefitted his team greatly later in the year. Glad to see Painter is now doing the same thing!

Last year: Xavier, Gonzaga, Tennessee, Marquette, Alabama, Arizona
With our MTE being weaker this year, I wish we could schedule one more hard game, but this is definitely a top tier schedule already
