Officer involved in Breonna Taylor tells his story.

While this incident was a tragedy that lead to the death of Breonna Taylor, the Democrats and BLM using it to their advantage is very disappointing (although not surrprising).

It had NOTHING to do with race. Zilch, zero, nada.

They're making her out to be a martyr, when in reality, she had an ongoing relationship with a felon drug dealer...

Skin color was completely irrelevant in this event.
I've defended the boyfriend saying that he had to right to defend his home from intruders. There's still debate on whether it was a no-knock raid or the cops announced themselves.
But, either way, if he comes of the room guns blazing, what were the cops supposed to do? Duck for cover and hope he runs out of ammo? No, they returned fire. Taylor unfortunately, was in the wrong place at the wrong time (and no, despite what some of the BLM race hustlers were saying, she wasn't asleep in her bed) and was caught in the crossfire.
Tragic; yes. Race related; no.

Did you watch the video? The officer said they knocked multiple times and said they were the police with a warrant. Even argued with a neighbor above because the neighbor heard the knocking.

Yes, not disputing that they didn't announce, they did. The problem I have with the situation is the narrative that any of this was racially motivated. The whole "say her name" thing, insinuating that Taylor was shot because was black and it was another case of cops killing an unarmed black person. It's BS.

You know some police officers lie don’t you? No body cameras either.

Wasn’t the dude they were looking for already in custody? Either way he did not live there at the time. The police got bad intel at best, or worse.

No knock warrants were banned in the Crime Bill the repubs voted against. If I was a police officer I would like no knock warrants. Babies have killed in these no knock warrants. Police again going to the wrong address in

Did you read the article? Was anything in it false or disputable?
I don’t call somebody like Ann Coulter a reliable source. Plus the fact there is nothing in the article that I saw that said that the police lied on several instances about this case. Imagine that.

And theres nothing to say Walker lied either...

The neighbor corroborates Walker's story in that they did not hear the police announce that they were police. Why would they announce their presence since it was a no knock warrant?
Yes, and I'm sure the neighbors, in a predominantly black neighborhood, are going to back the police...

I've seen more cooperation by a community with the police in occupied territories...

And who are you getting the truth from? Serious question. He sounded very legit to me. There's nobody else that knows what really happened other than the police. Yes, I know police lie sometimes. I don't believe this is one of those times.

Because they didn't lie. The media lies though. Actually, I take that back. They don't necessarily lie all the time. They just chose to accept sources that they want to agree with. So even though they had contradictory evidence, they CHOSE to accept the narrative they wanted to hear from the victims/criminals lawyer.

why do you have such a hard-on for the police killing black people? The amount of mental gymnastics you have to perform to defend these cops tells me there's something subconscious about it.

What do you want me to say? He got out of prison early, got a gun and killed people. Yes it is a horrible incident. Happens a lot unfortunately.
Yes it does, but it leads to a question. Why is there so much greater emphasis on BLM than on BBM(black behavior matters)? That is not to say all shooters are black, but the statistics are very clear.

Interestingly enough it’s the families of these kids who are going after BLM the hardest.. you have BLM people buying huge houses and the families are like “uh they raised a ton of money using my kids name and we never saw a dime”

not sure if you already knew that.

Big solution that as usual neither “side” is proposing ..

one side thinks all cops are lying. The other side thinks no cop ever killed anyone.

my solution? You wanna police a neighborhood you have to live there, period. That’s gonna solve 90% of it right there. Presuming the point of it is to solve anything.

or that this is the big issue that worries most Americans who aren’t in the top 10% of income earners

"Louisville police detective Mike Nobles testified under cross-examination that he didn’t know the warrant had been changed from a "no-knock" warrant to a "knock and announce" warrant.

"When officers began to knock at Taylor’s door, Nobles said they paused for 2 or 3 minutes because Hankison and another officer were focused on getting a neighbor back inside of his apartment after he came out to tell police to "leave that girl alone."

Leave that girl alone

I live near Louisville. When the story first broke, it was a "drug bust gone bad" and the reporting was relatively objective. WAVE 3 News ran the story that she was fired as an EMT for stealing drugs at a hospital and her personnel paperwork was marked "Do not rehire".

However, once the race riots began in Louisville the news media started backtracking. WAVE 3 pulled their initial story (link) and replaced it with some nonsense that she "was studying to become a nurse" although, of course, she wasn't actually enrolled in any classes anywhere. The Louisville Courier-Journal also pulled its original story and later updates portrayed Breonna as an angel and the cops as monsters.

Tragic outcome to a drug raid.
But....
1) Taylor shouldn't have been dating drug dealers and handling money/drugs for them and
2) her shooting had nothing, not a single thing, to do with her race (contrary to what the BLM dummies would have you believe).
