The only people that look foolish in these threads are the people that are comparing Matt Painter to Jay Wright ... and I'm a Painter supporter.

At least pick a coach that Painter is in the same tier of. That's why these threads diminish the thread's intent.

The little I've seen..Wright's teams play smart..opportunistic with some shooters and creators of shots. Generally, I think he does a good job, but why didn't they guard Butler? I mean once butler starts stroking it...ya might want to extend that D in man and trash a zone. Also, when behind AND going to foul...going to foul..don't play a zone press, but man press in that situation. Too many gaps..too much time and Butler can get the ball to who they want easier. I agree that Wright's teams play well and he does a good job, but not impressed with his game plan against Butler...I mean guard them is not cheating...
