I get upset when we lose games we shouldnt. That isnt that.

We got matched with the best team in the nation. We came ready to play and came out hot. But they have insane athletes, not only that, but unlike duke, kentucky, ucla, etc... they start 4 upper classmen which is unheard of with 1 and done schools.

We had a good year, won the big ten, sweet 16.. any other matchup we had a legit chance.. if kansas shot bad, we had a chance, but they not only shot well, they shot way better than their average.

I think kansas wins it all. Lets all pray biggie stays and we get a team full of upper classmen next year plus the athletes coming in

Somewhat agree. I don't think we matched their hustle and intensity. We were not as engaged as we were against ISU

Agreed. Still think we could win if the team played like they did for the first 10 minutes but for whatever reason lost focus completely.

Really hope this post is a joke. If not - Congratulations on being the reason this is acceptable in West Lafayette. Again, great joke hopefully.

Enjoy it, this is Painter's ceiling. Doesn't recruit athletes and sure as heck doesn't develop them

I'm not upset Purdue lost.

I am disappointed in the way the team played. Too sloppy in the last 6:30 of the first half. Packed it in with about 8 minutes left.

Purdue was thrashed both athletically and mentally in this one.

I, for one, think next year's senior class is going to be rally good. Having Nobel and Carsen Edwards will help Purdue's athleticism.

First post here and you waste it on this message? What an ass hole. We played a great team that beat us fair and square.

Oh Bullshit! Who hasn't gotten better in this program? Mathias hasn't improved? PJ? VE? Swanigan?

Leave this board, leave the fan-base, and forego your degree (assuming you have one)

He's a troll, don't feed the troll

What? Are you losing it? Why would we want to be in the NIT instead of the sweet sixteen in the NCAA?

Are you one of those lilies in need of an 8th place trophy? How truly sad for you.
TCU beat Kansas. All I've heard here is that Kansas is the greatest team of all time. Maybe you don't follow college basketball though, so you wouldn't know that.

Why would I ever pick Purdue to get to a Final Four? This is a second rate program. I'm not the one going around insulting people for saying that they wouldn't make it past the Sweet 16, and then proudly proclaiming how I only picked them to get to the Sweet 16 like a very angry little boy.

TCU would not have touched Kansas tonight. I do follow basketball pretty closely, so don't make assumptions. Just saying the NIT is nice when you can't make the dance, but I would not trade the two.

I'm not angry. Just calling you out for complaining we got beat by the best team in the country at exactly the point in the tourney you and I both picked us to lose.

By 32? See the difference? Quitting with 8 minutes to go in the first half? This was the most Purdon't tournament game I've seen, and I was an angry little boy once too, back in 1988. Kansas was in no way, shape, or form the run away best team of all-time until about 10:30 PM tonight. Let's call a spade a spade here. Admit this was a monumental choke job.

No kidding. The point is that this greatest team of all time lost to a crappy team (yes, without one player) two weeks ago. Kansas is very good, but not a team that you lose by 32 to unless you completely unravel.

Sometimes you get beat by a much better team. And sometimes you grow from it. That's my point. I'm not angry at all. Did you actually graduate from Purdue?

Yes. Unfortunately I couldn't get into Michigan or Northwestern like I wanted to, so I settled on Plan C.

The season's over. Who's going to grow from this? Idle platitudes that go nowhere.

I will call you out. Why are you excited for next year? This is the lame excuse year after year after year for Purdue fans. Best player since Glen Robinson is gone, more than likely. Purdue never sets the trend in college basketball, they follow the trend all the while the trend setters are changing course and Purdue is following the previous trend. Perpetually behind the curve. So again, why are they going to be exciting next year? Is "exciting" just another word for peeing away leads and making games knuckle biters? Some of the "experts" on here use such general terminology while adding nothing of depth. I appreciate the posters who can break down the game as this is not my forte. Those who are rah-rah after a loss by 32 with no break down of the game are just homers and that is in no way a complimentary term.
