Northwestern robbed

It is strange, but if Michigan State and Michigan win, then there is a huge chance at least one big ten team makes the final four.

Also, if Michigan States wins that mean 2 Big Ten teams knock off Number 1 seeds. Northwestern would have been 3. Would have been great for the Big Ten!

Would that be a first two teams from the same conference taking out 1 seeds on the 2nd round?

Was listening to a sports show this morning and whomever the head officiating person is admitted that the crew screwed up the calls.

Unfortunately the only real ramifications are the crew does ref anymore but NW is still out of a victory they clearly had.

Clearly had? That play was with 5 minutes to go. It may have gone down to the last possession but that was not the potential game winner.

Well, I am not sure it decided the game, but it very well could of. It was basically a 4 point swing for Gonzaga that never should have been. They ended up winning by 6. I think if that missed goal tend/basket interference doesn't happen, Northwestern would have taken it. I didn't watch the whole game, but I heard refs were favoring Gonzaga all day long. I can't stand Gonzaga and their over-rated ranking. They beat Arizona early in the season before Arizona really started playing better. Plus they never had to play anyone significant since that December 3rd game. Talk about a cupcake schedule. I am rooting for West Virginia big time to give them a clinic in the Sweet 16.
