This is from DEC 30th so I appologize if it has already been talked about, but I just saw this and thought I would share since we are all hopeful that he will become a Boilermaker soon.

The following quote kind of lays out a general time line on when he will commit:

"As good as he is on offense, he’s probably better on defense considering that’s where he’s being recruited by Big Ten schools such as Purdue, Indiana and Iowa.

He projects as a linebacker at the next level. He’s 6-foot-2, 205 pounds as a 17-year-old so he’s looking to add some weight the next couple of years. He’s hoping to be 215 pounds by the start of his senior season and 225 to 230 entering his freshman year of college.

“I’m working out with my dad now with a new training program,” he said. “Playing in the power five in football is a different animal so I’ve got to get bigger and physically more mature if I really want to compete for a position.”

Kiser hinted that he may make his college choice before the start of his senior season.

“Yeah, with this early signing period it’ll allow me to take my official visits in the spring I believe and so that will definitely fast-forward my decision-making process,” he said. “So hopefully by late spring, early summer I’ll know where I’m going, I’ll commit, and that’ll just make everything else easier. It will make the rest of the summer and the fall a lot easier.”"

He's hoping for an offer from ND during a June camp-if none is forthcoming, I think he will commit to PU in summer.

if that's the case, that smells just like the recruitment of another S/LB recruit from a few years ago.....
It does, but, hard to argue with how that worked out for the S/LB recruit that was involved before...that said, the situation is slightly different in this case in that at least the HC at Purdue now has been there and shown himself capable...there are some other extenuating circumstances (proximity to campus, family ties to the University)...and, there is the potential appeal of playing with another top local talent (King George) and making a genuine difference in a program that Purdue offers.
