Just spent 4 days in Nashville for work for the first time and loved the city! Wish we could make it to the bowl game but already have previous commitments. For those on the fence going....DO IT!

Given all of the bars and restaurants in close vicinity of the stadium, it’s sure to be a great weekend and fun time tailgating. I got several positive comments walking around with my Purdue gear on. We enjoyed “The Stillery” gastropub out of everywhere we ate the best. Their brick oven pizzas are the best I’ve ever had and hot chicken Mac and cheese looked great too.

Bars we enjoyed the most were Kid Rock’s (ended there every night), Tootsies, and Honkey Tonk. Hit several smaller places up as well and really can’t go wrong anywhere. Jealous I can’t be back for the bowl game!

How is parking at that stadium? Does it fill up early and you have to get packing somewhere close to the stadium, if you do not get there within a certain time of game time, or the parking is more than ample for everyone?

Looked like there was a lot of parking but honestly we just took Lyft everywhere. We stayed at the Holiday Inn on Vanderbilt’s campus (which is a very nice campus) and it was only a $7 ride to the bars/restaurants and the stadium isn’t much further. Plenty of drivers everywhere.

I agree with everything you said. We are going to be out by the airport, and it was $17 for 5 of us last time we were there. Gr is at city!
