Freshman of the Year: Brandon Miller, Alabama
Defensive Player of the Year: Trayce Jackson-Davis, Indiana

On coach of the year:

It would be cool to see Amir Abdur-Rahim at Kennesaw State get some recognition. He took over that program in 2019 when it was transitioning from DII to DI. His first team went 1-28 in 2019, the program's first in D1. They improved to 5-19 in year two and then 13-18 last year. This year Kennesaw State went 26-8, was Atlantic Sun co-champion and won the league tournament to secure the school's first-ever appearance in the NCAA D1 tournament. What a cool story.
