MSU continues its slime ball ways

Pretty solid legal strategy, which is tough to distinguish from slime in this instance. Eventually, the truth will all come out. Sparty is betting it will be too long from now for anyone to care. BUT, before we lament them “getting over,” imagine how it feels/looks to know the (former) President of your U has still been charged with felonies by the Attorney General you deliberately hamstrung.

Bad guys always win unless you start using severe punishment like what communist government does. For example, the rule needs to be set to exclude school from joining tournament for like 10 years. Coaches will not be able to coach again ever. Now, let's see who will cheat again?

Saw Roy was punished for his involvement in not just one, but, multiple cheating scandals...with a 10-year contract extension that will take him to age 78. Very strong message sento_O

Did you read the article?

People involved at MSU and everyone who still supports their athletics department should all be tied to a giant anvil together and that anvil should be dropped in the middle of the ocean. Ignorance is no longer an excuse, if you still support them youre a terrible person who should be ostracized from civilized society, period.

Wow. Alright. People that support MSU athletics should be killed.

The article had nothing to do with Izzo.

You are trying to compare and coorelate two things that have nothing in common.

Perhaps clicking the link and reading will help you understand.

Agree to disagree. My personal belief before the Nassar story broke was that athletic's at MSU had a culture that was enabling athletes to get away with actions that would not be tolerated at other places.

As the adage goes, for every rat you see assume there are 6 more. I think it also applies here. For every story that hit the press about a basketball or football player I always wonder about what we are not hearing about.

As Izzo is part of athletics and is a key player in the basketball stories he is part of this culture. Unless folks accept his penance of wearing a ribbon and tears for the victims.

A little drastic there MGC7 but not going to outright totally disagree with you. The people who support that athletic department are doing it knowingly supporting sexual assault and are fine with women being abused by MSU athletes, staff, and doctors over and over.

Not going to take it as far as you and say they should be killed but I do think they should be ostracized from the public and humiliated for what they stand for and support.
