Mostert out w/ season ending injury

He was the 49'ers best back and in a great offense/coaching situation for his skills, but unfortunately, he just can't stay on the field for extended periods anymore.

Hope he can come back strong.

SF also lost their top CB to a season-ending knee injury in Detroit.

damn, feel bad for the dude. Been consistently bit by the injury bug. If I remember correctly though, didn't he just get a new guaranteed deal with SF? At least he's secure financially.

They restructured his deal with some incentives, but he's a free agent in 2022. Think he'll make approximately $3.1 million this year. He'll have only played 9 games in two seasons, however.

If the rehab goes well, I think he'll still get a decent deal, IMO. I'd love to see him stick with SF, as I think it's a good opportunity for him, but they have some huge roster/cap issues for a contender, and it's been that way for a couple of seasons. Hell, that's why they had to deal pro-bowler DeForest Buckner to the Colts.

Either way, I wish Raheem Mostert the best in his recovery and continuing his career.
