Second time I've seen it today, still outstanding, thanks for posting. I always thought contributing factors were

1. We get smart guys at the poisiton
2. We never really get the bulldozer lineman/pro running back offense
3. We never really get the pro receivers (so the QB has to learn to be a lot more accurate)
4. We never really have the consistent dominant D, so we have to score a lot of points.

for 2,3 and 4 I'll add "Until now, that is."
