I know Purdue has hired some statisticians for analyzing the game, and seems like Houston is jacking up 3 pointers like no ones business and limiting mid range jumpers, it would seem as if purdue is doing a bit of this, but curious if you think this could work in the college game? I think Houston is averaging 45 3 pointers attempted a game.

Curious if painter is using some of this approach with this team or not.

I don't really translate jacking up a bunch of threes with the term moneyball. I always equated moneyball with using stats to find the cheapest solution. I jus t think Houston just loves to jac k u p these, and the y have a gu y down low who can get the rebound.

Unfortunately, if purdue were to try that strategy we saw in two games the results. We DON"T have tha guy down low who will grab the misses.

Threes are overpowered in the NBA and probably even more so in college. Every team should chuck threes.

Purdue posts up way to much to be considered a morey ball team and does not drive to the basket enough

Haas Would be the exact opposite of what you would want for that kind of team while Mathias is probably about the best (less so this year but last year)

I don't know how good the post is in college play, fouls are a bigger deal in college and I think best part of the post game is getting the other teams bigs in foul trouble but I am not sure how the efficiency compares.

This years recruiting class fits in that mold but Williams in next years class doesn't
