Absolutely manhandling Washington State at the half. I think the Big Ten was significantly disrespected in CFP and bowl selections. I think OSU will tear USC to pieces, as long as they're motivated to play in this game after the Alabama diss.

Yep. Should be 3-0 and big ten is actually favored by Vegas in the other 5. The guys putting the money up sure believed in the big ten. Big ten had second best rpi this year and second best win percentage against OOC (first obviously was SEC). So entire outlook on Conference was based on only 10 collective non-conference losses, many to ranked teams. Terrible the big ten had no representation in playoffs despite 3 top 10 teams.

The B1G is slow and plodding. We all saw that last night when Purdue could barely contain Tate....
I’m sorry, but that’s a week post. “Slow and plodding“. Are we walking our mules and work courses through the fields with our plows? Produce seem to do an excellent job containing Tate the other night. He’s one of the fastest quarterbacks in college, how many yards did they run for? I understand the perception that the Big Ten is slow, but that’s 1990s and early 2000‘s analysis right there.

Your sarcasm meter is broken.

We will see. Often times the conference starts out hot December 26 and cools by January 1. Over performs in low level games, under performs on the big stage.

Big Ten did not do itself any favors the last two years in this thing failing to score a point.

I agree that the b10 is in good shape. Nw should beat Kentucky easily. Michigan should win easily. Psu should win too.

But I don’t think osu wins.

Dude, I was being sarcastic...

In fairness, the WSU QB did not play, so the MSU victory should be seen jn that light. The QB that replaced him was making his first start. MSU has not really impressed me this year. They are OK at best imo.

With no B1G teams in the playoffs, at least we don't have remaining teams shifted upwards into bowls in which they they might be [considerably] overmatched.

However, I'm sure the conference rather face that problem than be left on the sideline.

they were also w/o their top 2 receivers.

Sad to see a QB place his NFL draft stock over playing his last Collgiate game! I understand, but it's still sad.

Well, he had wrist surgery and was still in a cast in the days before the game. Also, he was dressed and taking snaps during warm-ups on game day before shutting it down.

the injury was on his non-throwing wrist. He obviously needed the surgery and he had it. and he'll be ready for the combine.

it was fun listening to FOX and ESPN hype the game using him as their marquis name draw and expecting him to actually play.

I understand, but it's still sad he didn't have an opportunity to shine. .

They should have started a QB with a torn ACL . . .

In this day and age, it's "next man".

I think we, as fans, are taking for granted the strong conference that's been built.

I think that was offset by us having 3 in the top 6 bowl games. Usually our 4th best would be in Outback and that is what we had this year.

I just checked. We are actually overmatched. It normally would be
Playoff
Orange or citrus
Outback

We missed playoff but added two to the big six so everyone moved up a spot.

This. Purdue's starting QB was out with a dislocated ankle and their back-up played with a torn ACL.

Makes you wonder what our record would have been with a couple fewer drops a game.

Really could have been 8-5 or 9-4 if they would've pulled out the Nebraska and/or Rutgers games. They weren't very far away from that.
