Mexico is stationing 10,000 troops at the border, you pretentious fool. This open borders nonsense will stop and that is exactly what Trump said.Dumb ass checked public opinion polls, saw the markets tanking (but not too much because the markets built in that Trump is full of shit) and backed off within one day! He'll get a press statement from Mexico saying "we'll try really hard on that border" just like I said and nothing will change, except for more confirmation that every other nation in the world sees the latest example that Trump is a pussy, a reactionary, a narcissist, and doesn't understand what he's doing.
Calling me names won't change this. Mexico already has tons of troops along the border. So they still will just like they did? Nice; and there's your easily predicted psuedo-concession just like I told you would happen yesterday morning.Mexico is stationing 10,000 troops at the border, you pretentious fool. This open borders nonsense will stop and that is exactly what Trump said.
Mexico agrees to deploy 10,000 troops to US border in exchange for tariff pause
Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum has agreed to deploy 10,000 national guard troops to block drug trafficking at the U.S.-Mexico border.www.foxnews.com
Mexico does not currently have troops at the border. Either prove it with a link or stop lying.Calling me names won't change this. Mexico already has tons of troops along the border.
LOL not name calling of Donald Trump (or any politician that you happen to disagree with)? Go ahead; call Hunter Biden a crack-head scumbag or Joe Biden a senile idiot! I'll be right there with you.Mexico does not currently have troops at the border. Either prove it with a link or stop lying.
And here is your name-calling within this thread: "Dumb ass, full of shit, pussy, reactionary and narcissist,"
You mean like when you said this to me in the "Canada" thread?I'm talking about name calling other posters instead of supporting with facts.
I believe Kat's also fond of calling us Trump supporters "MAGATs"......You mean like when you said this to me in the "Canada" thread?
"Good gawd you are gullible."
So they find one person that doesn't understand tariffs and they are supposed to be representative of all of MAGA? Hilarious.
Too many things to write on this with any depth, but the view of tariffs with a "long" view differs from a "short" view as many opposing focus. Tariffs are only effective if you have the leverage and we are seeing that in play. Could certain things go up in cost...sure, but that doesn't capture the totality of a tariff in play...especially with a long view. Should things go up and should inflation result, there are other ways to compensate for those two items with money freed up by cutting waste and tax tables should more people having their money taken for taxes due to increased wages etc. How all these things work out is much more important that knee jerk response based on fear told by msnbc and it's ilk. Have they not seen the rise in prices everywhere as a result of Biden's administration when worrying about some commodity in trade to the USA costing more?So they find one person that doesn't understand tariffs and they are supposed to be representative of all of MAGA? Economists are saying it. The WSJ is saying it. You can't blame this on the liberal media. But you'll continue to try.Too many things to write on this with any depth, but the view of tariffs with a "long" view differs from a "short" view as many opposing focus. Yes, and the WSJ and the "economists" were wrong. It appears that you are brain dead to what has transpired over the past 48 hours. Trump's tariff threats against Mexico and Canada tanked the DJIA by almost 700 points. But then the Mexican president and Canadian prime minister caved and went groveling to Trump to postpone the tariffs until they could get effective immigration controls on illegal immigration and drug trafficking. The Dow regained 75% of its losses in the afternoon and today, at 11:00 am, the DJIA is HIGHER than it was when it began the plummet yesterday.Economists are saying it. The WSJ is saying it.
