What a horrendous decision to go to Kohler in a tie game with 30 seconds to go. With Mara in the game.
It kinda shows what happens when you don’t have a go to guy to go score it for you.
msu is really not very talented, basketball skill wise. They’re fast and athletic but they lack guys that can flat out play.
Both Fears and Holloman are back-up pg types. Akins shouldn't be your best guard. Their bigs are good enough for a contender I think. Their guards aren't.
Make them play offense in the half-court and you win, as UCLA and USC showed. If UCLA could run a halfway competent offense they would have won by 10+.
