Doesn't mount to much.
Purdue Boilermakers - 2017 Big Ten Champs
Yeah but that makes it even worse. Good teams finish other teams off. Teams must make ft's and limit turnovers to win in march.Whatever! We make one free throw and we are the best. We had them beat. We beat ourselves.
Don't care what the records say
Ugh
Well we know it isn't Purdue. We couldn't get a single win in the big ten tournament as a 1 seed. I mean what is that? It's almost hard to believe. Purdue couldn't beat Michigan no matter how hard they tried. They just choked and choking takes effort. I think today's loss is instinctive. It's in personality issues. Swan aside, nobody else had it hard, nobody else has the character. They just try to skill win. Champions don't skill win they just win. The team decided to lose. It's too much for them. Winning is too much. Warriors mentality? I think not. This was probably easily Purdue's worst result in big ten tournament history. First time 1 seed can't win a game.
I should just ignore this, but are you serious? Carsen played pretty damn tough! Swanigan and Haas did pretty good too. Dakota's clutch 3 should have won the game. Two made free throws and Purdue is going to the final four!
Only a final four or better could redeem such a disappointment today. I'm actually shocked right now Purdue lost. I can't even believe it still. Literally shocked this is possible.
We lost as a 1 seed and couldn't get a single win in our own weak conference tournament. That's almost hard to believe it even happened. It's a disaster end to the season. What are we playing for ?? A final 4? A title? We can't even win a big ten tournament game against the worst possible team on the picking order as a 1 seed. Horrible. This team got embarrassingly exited out of NCAA last year. Is this their grand statement? Is this the response to that to the fans? This was a horrible end to the season. It overshadows everything prior. Major blemish to the season. Knocks Purdue down the hill bigtime.
That right there is some dumb.
They owe the fans NOTHING.
At least owe themselves then. I'd settle for that. I'd be happy if they were at least that playing for themselves. If that was a team effort today then I'm Michael Jordan in my own private jet. Today was a disaster. There is absolutely NO excuse. Michigan even had a plane scare hardly rested after a game yesterday tired without preparation time. Purdue has a neutral court, the 1 seed, extra rest, extra preparation time, a time to observe them, a 3 seed on the line. Getting that 3 seed gave them a chance to do something. What are they going to do now wear high heals at the dance? They'll be bye bye probably before the sweet 16 but if Purdue fans got to wait 10 - 15 years per sweet 16 then they'll be seeing a final 4 per every 100 years if they're lucky. Maybe never. If this is moving forward I'd hate to see backwards.
