Stupid defensive scheme of a 4-2-5 takes our best players (LB's) off the field and let's Purdue get run over. Maryland is a run first team and Purdue is essentially in a pass first defense l.

Maryland is doing some very basic defenders principles. Loading 7 in the box and rolling a safety down and playing press coverage on the outside to mess with the short passing game timing. Forcing the WR's to create their own separation, and they aren't doing it.
I think that's what pisses me off the most. This whole cluster $@$@ pisses me off but that's the worst.
I feel bad for the poor guy that's going to be tasked with putting together a highlight reel of the season for the banquet at the end of the year.
If there is a hope, have to get 7 after that punt by Maryland. Two scores from the Boilers and some adjustments at halftime...who knows. But as John Madden would say..you can't win if you don't score.
With 4 minutes left, Purdue has 67 total yards and 54 penalty yards.
Watching this game, Purdue is getting out schemed on both side of the ball. I'm not sure what Malone is supposed to do with as weak of an offensive line as Purdue has this season without the starting tackles playing.
i think what makes me the maddest is the haze clapping and slapping helmets when they come off the field. maybe time to start kicking butts
I'll be interested to hear how the GBI staff spins this. They have been some what middle ground up to this point, but no denying how incredibly awful Purdue looked giving up 250+ yards in rushing in the first half.
This program is a train wreck. We can't schedule enough patsies and probably should consider leaving the B1G and moving to a league we can win a few games in. If it wasn't for Tiller we've had nothing in my lifetime worth talking about.

I don't see how Hazell still has a job on Monday morning. Matter of fact, I hope his stuff is cleared out of his office by the time the team gets back to West Lafayette. He is done a horrible job with this team in terms of talent and discipline. I honestly don't put it all on him b/c burke and the BoT are horrific as well. But DH II need to be gone right now and the coaching search needs to begin right now. Please turn this program around Mike!
That will be the most useless class anyone in Krannert could take. Unless they are using him as a case study as to what not to do.
I wish he would lay out for one of those. I know they aren't the best thrown balls, but come on, make the effort.
