Agree...if not for the DJ injury, I don't think you'd see him until BW and the walk-ons enter the game.Looks like Berg is the 9-10th man right now, that’s where he needs to be, a 6-8 minute a game player.

Oh yeah for sure. Seemed like he wanted to get others involved and only played 26 mins which is low for himI didn’t watch today’s game, but I have no doubt that Smith will be fine.
no, I would recall that. Seems like maybe it was a player from Missouri but I could be way off...Jason Gardner Jr?
Haha I figured! Shawn Foster from Ohio looks to be our only other offerno, I would recall that. Seems like maybe it was a player from Missouri but I could be way off...
You know...I'm struggling where I read that. Seeing Jason Garner's name adds to me feeling old. I remember watching him as a senior go up against Chris Thomas that I was high on and wished he would have went to Purdue instead of ND in a game at Pike. I think Chris as a freshman went for 24 that game? I wrote a bit about him years ago on Mr Hoops. He was most valuable as an 8th grader in Purdue's invite camp. Purdue had a good shot, but...Jason Gardner Jr?
not sure if was an offer, but a recruit that visited. Now where did I come up with that? Getting old is not fun!Haha I figured! Shawn Foster from Ohio looks to be our only other offer
Be careful. If you keep referencing getting old, I may need to block you ... if I remember how tonot sure if was an offer, but a recruit that visited. Now where did I come up with that? Getting old is not fun!

Chris Thomas – Thomas was the runaway winner in the Mr. Basketball vote as a senior in 2000-01 after helping Pike to a 91-15 record and two state championships (1998 and 2001). Thomas, who also won the Trester Award and was the Gatorade Player of the Year for Indiana, finished with a Pike record 2,156 career points and 499 assists. The 6-1 McDonald’s All-American averaged 23.4 points, 5.8 assists and 3.7 steals as a senior. In four seasons at Notre Dame, Thomas totaled 2,195 points and 833 assists. He averaged 17.1 points and 6.5 assists per game over 128 games from 2001-05. Notre Dame made an NCAA tournament Sweet 16 appearance in 2003. Thomas ranks second in Big East history in assists per game and ninth in points. Thomas played professional basketball in Europe from 2005 to 2012.
