His defense on that drive from Rice was exactly what I would want from anyone there. Stayed in front of the ball and walled straight up and contested the shot.

Don't understand all the whining from Hummel on the broadcast about it being a foul. There wasn't much contact at all and what there was appeared to be initiated by Rice leaning into a vertical Harris. Let's also not ignore the fact that if we are going to nitpick the slightest bit of contact, Rice quite clearly pushed off on the drive to the basket before the shot.

Hope Harris doesn't listen to any of the noise on this and if he is ever in the same situation again I'd want him to do exactly the same thing. I don't think most officials call a foul there and even if one does it is still better than backing away to avoid a foul and allowing a close range fg attempt for the lead.

Yes, I agree. Great D on that play. I don't think Harris cares what anybody says, he knows how to defend and isn't afraid of the pressure in these big games. Those freshman are coming along nicely....better than the sophomores.

Every once in a while I get the feeling Robbie feels he needs to say something to show he's not always a homer Boiler. That said, I'm sure behind the commentary right then, he was saying "Haha, take that you IU jerks." He is great though; so knowledgable of the game.
