Huh, I didn't realize the coach was the one on the court with the basketball in his hands. Comments like yours are so mind-numbingly ridiculous they actually make my head hurt.
OT, but it kills me when people say this, and when people said it about RJ and Bryson (!) They are point guards, just not very good ones. period. what about them reminds people of shooting guards? it's a crazy, inaccurate cliche thing to say.
Vile is dead on and it strikes a nerve with all the folks that bought in to Keady's last 10 years of mediocrity and now can't admit his chosen one is equally out of his element. Keady was a great motivator who got the team to play hard and beat the 10-15 crappy teams scheduled every year and go .500 against the rest. Always had good excuses for not going far in the tournament and his "tree" is all the same. I get it that Painter is not going anywhere so no one bitch when he retires 20 years from now as the winningest coach in Purdue history and we will have not been to a FF in 60 years and everyone who remembers Purdue as a contender is dead.
