This is the current number, IIRC - 1514 with Southern Illinois (119 games) and 300 in 23 games with Purdue so far.

Figured it out. Southern Illinois played 3 games against non-D1 schools while Lance was there. KenPom and Torvik don't count those, but official stats do, I assume.
Hopefully Lance passes 2000 on a Kris Jenkins-esque three on a Monday in early April.
Unsure Jones’ feelings about the milestone, but I hope it’s not a David Jenkins repeat. I know DJ was going for it and just missed (1989) with a donut in the infamous last game. Previous 3 games were 11, 6, 12.
